I am currently playing my second campaign as the Brutii H/M (my first was the Julii E/E).
My spies have a ridiculously easy time opening the gates to any city I wish to invade. The actual percentage doesn't seem to matter.
The most blatant example came last night as I was fighting in greece against both the macedonians and greeks when the senate gets it into its head to send me to Pergamum. I had to wait until the very last turn to get the greek mainland under control before I could ship an army there. So I pack a my faction leader with a spy on a boat and land off the coast of Pergamum. I send in the spy, it says I have a 32% chance of getting the doors open. I siege and sure enough 007 has done it again. I was able to take the city and get the senate's reward.
Has this kind of run happen to anyone or am I just really lucky?
