Will save games from Rome: Total War Gold Edition (1.3) work with the original Rome: Total War (1.5)? Thanks in advance.

Well I don't know for sure but I wouldn't do it if you want to play that save. I would advise you not to take any risk and just complete your save(s) and then upgrade it.
Veni Vidi Vici - Julius Caesar
I came, I saw, I conquered - Jay Z![]()
I'd rather be the leader of a small Gallic village than be the second man of Rome - Julius Caesar.
Quintili Vare, legiones redde - Caesar Augustus
OK, I will complete my campaign first. Thanks for the help.

Gold Edition should be factory-patched to 1.5 so if you have a 1.5 game and then switch to Gold Edition it should be ok. I believe a small number of Gold Edition sets actually were 1.3 but these can always be patched to 1.5 in the normal way before you load up your save game.
As an aside, in my experience games started under 1.3 cannot be played under 1.5.
