I was dissapointed yesterday, when having prized a copy of Medieval 2: Total War from the cold, dead hands of my local dealer, I opened the box to find no campaign map.
I hadn't realised that the Campaign map was a Collectors Edition only comodity, and I was really dissapointed. I had planned on framing the map and plotting possible campaign routes with the aid of a felt tip pen. But more importantly I need the map to work out where the cities are when I haven't explored that area of the map.
I wanted to share this point to warn people that perhaps the collectors edition is worth the extra money, much as I loath giving money to Game - who ignore PC games until a big title like this comes out. Grrr now I'll have to buy it twice!
By the way the game is fabulous, and responsible for me being two hours late for work this morning.![]()
