I downloaded IE7, and I'm enjoying it very much. I tried downloading FF a few times, and it never worked. (my fault, I'm sure)
The tabs take a few minutes to figure out, but basically, if you click the center button on a link, you get the link in a new tab. Very useful if you're shopping, or if you're reading an article and see a hyperlink you want to check out AFTER you finish the current article. Say you are reading about new graphics cards at the org, and you want to check out prices on the new model at e-bay, you can just type"ebay" into the address bar, then hold down control and alt while you press enter, and ebay will pop up in a different tab.
Another very cool feature that I discovered accidentally is that you can "hide" the address bar and all of the buttons at the top of the screen. It's sort of like hiding your windows taskbar. If you put your cursor at the top of the screen, all of the buttons will slide down. If you move your cursor away from the top of the screen, the whole monitor is filled with just the web page. Sorry, but I can't tell you how to do this, as I have no idea how I did it myself.
The download is pretty fast, about 14mb at around 75k. However, the installation takes about twice as long as the download.
