Islam is not law in Turkey, IA. People are free to believe and behave the way they wish to. Let's try not to turn this into something Backroom-ish. My only intention using Ramadan as a means was not in order to go pro-Islamic; I used it because it's when we visit our friends, relatives, beloved ones, and taste the most delicious desserts (baklava anyone?) and food. It's a tradition that, against all odds, never got changed, and I'm happy and hopeful that people are still able to show their humanity, they at least are carrying crisps of it.
Beirut, I don't know what wacky means, but I don't think Dariush would intend an offence at me and I see all fellaz here are as good as Muslims at understanding the friendship that Ramadan carries.
P.S. Andres, seriously, Kuran is not a hobby read. You need to tidy up and clean yourself before reading it. I did not say you were insulting. Only such an action would be an insult in terms of Islam.![]()
