Dawn of War:Dark Crusade Realease Date has been pushed back again!,In europe at least, first it said it would come out september, then the 23rd of october, now friday! I hope it dosn't change again!

Well, I am in the US at the moment and all I can say is:

Interestly while it is stand alone you still need to own (and I think have installed) DoW and DoW:WA if you want to use the old armies online. You need to enter your CD keys again too...

Being somewhat of a purist, the new expansion has several flaws that prevent me from playing it without getting frustrated. I am waiting for the DCPRO mod to come out to fix my cup of tea the way I like it!

I'm holding out for the anthology edition, which should be coming out end of november. I never bought a DoW game, but playing the demos recently (the CoH demo made me want to check DoW out again) I'm really looking forward to it

Unlucky mate, the release date is now the 3rd of November :( See amazon, play.com, gamespot etc for confirmation.

I'm really liking DOW, had it for about a week or so and have already reserved DC. I don't have Winter Assault, but since Imperial Guard are at the bottom of the new Dark Crusade ladder ( http://www.dawnofwargame.com/DC_Stat...mepage.php.htm ) I don't think I'm missing much in terms of unlocking them for DC multiplay.

Btw, can any american shed any light on the fact the Orks are ahead of Space Marines and Eldar on the DC ladder? Are they much more powerful in DC?

Are you guys sure about the requirements for MP game? In the single player campaign you don't need the Winter Assault expansion to unlock the Imperial Guard, all you need is the original DoW which also unlocks the other races in DC. I am currently in the middle of a SP IG campaign in DoW:DC... pure Basilisk & Baneblade pwnage!
