Can someone tell me what the point is of training Basilikon if you can also train Kleruchoi?
i just dont get it, why go back to a smaller size unit, with equal stats.

The Basilikon Agemata are actually supposed to fight like Hypaspistai - traditional Hoplites. They're supposed to plug in gaps in the battle line, not really form part of it. When the Hypaspistai-types changed from a short phalanx formation to a normal one, the Basilikon Agemata was accidentally left out. IIRC this is what happened; it's best if a team member can confirm it.
The Kleruchoi Agemata are an Alexandrian phalanx. An elite one.

The thing is, they have quite equal stats. This has been fixed in 0.8

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.
A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?
They were just sort of Thorakitai Hoplitai, and that makes me wonder: are the Thorakitai Hoplitai stats also 'adjusted'?
