If Annie started playing less because she got muscled out by these "better" players that got into FF...

Eventually MTW became dull with the same armies and limited tactics used all the time. Maybe she lost interest because of that.

Maybe she did I dont know. I dont think she really stopped playing until she had givven rtw a chance though. At least she was as much active as anyone else in the clan as long as I was in the clan (with the occasional brake).

Crandaleon was probably the best 1v1 player in early FF.

Cranda was not in early FF. Best player, team or 1 on1 was Gryphon in early FF.

Team games are not just a question of how good each player is individually, but also a question of how well the allies work together.

You said Annie had to struggle to get on a top team in FF. In my clan, everyone who wants to participate is included no matter what the event.

That is not what I said. I said:

she would have to struggle very hard to get a spot in a top FF 4 player team

Notice the word WOULD.

I dont think we ever topped teams for tournaments and if we did others, as shown by Louis post, would have other topteams then the one I think would have been the strongest.

No one had to struggle to get into any FF-team. As long as I was in the clan everyone were encouraged to take part in tournaments (am not implying I was the most encouraging one, in fact it was often Annie, that alone is proof she wasnt bullied around as you seem to think she was). I dont know how it is nowadays. You can go check the old cwb-forums or cwc-forums if you like, we used as many players as possible and most often in diffrent constalations allthough me and Almir often were in the same team... oops maybe that makes us bullies...

4 vs 4 When I got about 1400 - 1600 fraqs.
Enemies rushed my allies and suddenly I was over them.
So I destroyed one, then second. When 3th and 4th turn formation to attack me, my allies managed to regroup and then we charged them from 2 sides.

Ah and of course I loved 4vs4 on hillyinland maps.
Best and hardest games I have ever seen.
