I now got back into it, and play it frequently. I dont have any booster packs or expansions. I just recieved my Corporal rank, unlocked both the L85A1 and the G3 (although I now regret choosing the L85A1). Getting the Anti-Tank Combat Badge and the Sniper Combat Badge are giving me trouble.

Played loads at first, then dropped off and recently went back...

Totally unimpressed by bf2142 and playing other games more I have finally taken the step of uninstalling it (well to be honest I needed the spaceon the HD)...

It was fun and once I get by next new machine I might put it back on again...

Pfft, Bob is the only one with some decent statistics here...
Besides, they still want 60EUR for the full version and only the first addon and because the game simply isn't worth that anymore, I won't ever get it I guess.

You can get it here for about €41...

This is the version I got and I paid only €40 for it (yeah €1 less )

You can get the vanilla version for only €22 here. I have the expansion but I never play it... as you can see on my crap stats .

    Free delivery is something .

With decent statistics I meant only the total time played.
A good game should be played for at least 100 hours.
And you linked to the english version, besides that there would most likely be additional costs for shipping, we translate games here in pwnland so we can enjoy them in pwnlanguage(I cannot speak english, so I really, really need that )

Don't give me that crap Hus, The shipping is free and I got mine from that webshop. To have the game in Kraut is a abomination, especially with your english skills.
    No more excuses left.
Go and get... I am that close to germany that we could play a game on the same server, preferably on opposite teams

I didn't say it wasn't free, I only looked at that page for about 5 seconds...

I'd like to show you what means to have played a game and join the contest, oh and this one is even free: http://aaotracker.com/usertracker.php?userid=87603
Only drawback is it's only really good with people you know.

I haven't played BF2 since Aug. I'd love to play, but I don't have my desktop at university and my laptop can't support it.

Hey, it takes skill to use the tank! :P. I've gotten quite good at it.

i used to play but i cant remmber my account so no stats for you!!

these days im playing BF2142 - i prefer it to Bf2 as its much more skewed towards Infratry rather than Tanks - plus everything is earned you cant just jump into the medic class and revive people you have to earn the right to bring people back (im a die hard medic i hardly play any other roles)

However I find it is much easier to kill a bunch of people in a tank. I got all four bronze class badges by tanking in them... And most of my silver engi and support are also tank.

However, I love the Pilum AT.
Just last night my clan and I occupied the flag outside the EU uncappable on Sidi Power Plant. That effectively cut the EU side off from using vehicles. I used mines and the Pilum to great effect while the other guys used various weapons, but mainly AT weapons. It was great... And the EU guys didn't know what to do. Everything they did ended up in total failure. Generally they tried assaulting us head on which game me and another Pilum user a lot of perfect side and rear shots on tanks and APCs. Add to that my EMP mines, it was a turkeyshoot.
And I had covered the backroad with movement mines, so that was safe as well.

proably going to do some BF2 today or tomarrow...

Once I joined a shaqri Pennsula Game, and it was a massarce. after the roundI joined into was over, I was the Commander for the USMC team in the second game, since it was 15 round, Insomina 365 Server, stop by some day, anyhow, It was a massarce. the MEC crew got shut down, they took some of our flags, but liek for the whole game, we kept them at the uncap points. they snuck in and took 2-3 of our flags, but they didn't last long..

I ended up getting #1 on the game leaderborad with like 70 or 80 some points, I'll post the pic later..

I love the Anti-Tank Class, I can kill people easily with that. Specail Ops ain't a bad class, if you using them for good aiming, since Anti-Tank guns don't, or blowing up UAV/scans..

And if you can get a competent transport helicopter pilot, you can lay down C4 charges from midair as makeshift bombs. Same thing with engineers and landmines. Drop a landmine from 300m in the air and nobody will see you do it

Hehe... That reminds me of once I was sitting in the rear of a Vodnik, leaving the Sharqi MEC airbase. The US forces had constantly tried to bomb the trailers there. So when we drove off I began dropping mines on the road. from the back. We were a sort of minelaying vehicle...

So when we passed a Hummer going the opposite way I could only smile, knowing what would likely happen. And it did. Three kills right off the bat.

I play, used to play a bit more but started to slack off. Getting back into playing now though waiting for any of the new games to come out (M&B update, MTW2, oblivion expansion etc.).

We should really get an orgah game together.

Grab yourself a Support player and a Medic and you can lay mines/C4 forever.
At least, until the enemy jets/attack heli's start flying.
