Thumbs up Travel notes & photographs

It took me a while, but it's time to post it.
I have recently arrived back home from holiday, which took me on a grandous tour of Europe, with the car, 6174 km. I went in 3 beautiful countries: Italy, Germany and Switzerland. It spawn on a trip of 12 superb days, along the beauty and roads of Europe. My route was something like this:

    Bucharest-Wien-Venice-Milano-Geneve-Zurich-Stuttgart-Frankfurt-Hannover-Hamburg-Berlin-Leipzig-Wien-Bucharest

    Technical data
    Date: 07.09.2006 - 19.09.2006
Place: Tour of Europe - Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, France
    Equipment: HP Photosmart R927, 8.2 Megapixels, 256MB SD Card + Nokia 6230, 0.3 megapixels, 32MB MMC

    Interesting notes
-Germans are obsessed with erotic things. In Frankfurt, on a main commercial street, I have seen about 5 erotic shops and bars, which started their activity at 13:00!!!
    -superb weather, especially in Venice
    -lots and lots of tourists
-Milano is a superb city, and for you girl-hunters, it's full of beautiful girls

Since I have so many photographs, I will post them in parts. Part I is Venice, so here are the photographs I have made in Venice.

    Rialto Bridge

Superb cathedral(can anyone help me with a name here? )

    Flowers and a gondola

    What a crowd!

Superb view of Venice from the base of the Rialto bridge

The most stylish cemetery in the world: The Venice Cemetery

    Norwegian Jewel

Beautiful monument of Venice(name?) (by the way, it's dark because I took it through the window of the boat which I was travelling with)

That's it for now. I will post many more later. I hope you enjoyed this part of the photographs.

    Any comments?

Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

    Proud

    Been to:

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?
