Well I came originally to the .org to get patches for MTW, noticed the forums and ended up as a lurker. After lurking period of a year or so I decided to get involved in fun of posting and it's a decision I'm happy about.

I came here to read some of the guides, especially Froggy's excellent guide to RTW.
Afterwards I just lurked once in a while.
This summer it was very very calm here at work. I noticed there was a writing contest going on and I thought "hey why not participate?".
And so I joined.
Afterwards, thanks to some ofthe spammershelpfull members here, I discovered the Tavern...

I found this forum while looking for some helpful guides, at some point I stumbled on Froggy's comprehensive one. I also followed the other faction specific guides , before deciding on joining myself, which I did in december 2004 after lurking for a while.
I've been here ever since.
