I was just checking the release date for M2TW on ebgames.com and I saw this:

From The History Channel: Crusades: The Crescent and the Cross DVD unfurls two centuries of war between two of the world's most enduring religions in an ancient, unending struggle of human and divine drama.
* Cutting-edge re-creations and computer graphics bring the battles to life.
* Renowned historians offer expert commentary.
* The epic series from THE HISTORY CHANNEL.

A literal city of God, Jerusalem had been under Muslim control for over 400 years when Christian soldiers first besieged it in 1096 AD. Galvanized by Pope Urban II, waves of Christian warriors had fought their way from Europe to the Holy Land intent on bringing it under Christian control. Countless battles, amazing feats and an unforgettable cast of characters forged legends and legacies, but clear victory remained elusive. Only the 13th century and a new scourge from the steppes of Asia would bring an end to the Crusades.

With breathtaking CGI-enhanced visuals, heart-pounding reenactments, and stunning footage from rarely seen locations, CRUSADES: THE CRESCENT AND THE CROSS brings the first three major Crusades alive for a new generation in conflict.

I'm already going to be buying the game as it is, so I would love to get this great documentary on DVD. It really is a very high quality show and it would be an excellent bonus. However, this says a "Gamestop Exclusive." Does that mean I need to buy it from Gamestop? Will I get the bonus DVD if I order from ebgames.com? Anyone know anything about this?

I ordered from eb in person and i think its for the edition with the making of dvd and soundtrack posters and art cards. That ones the same price. I'm not sure which edition has the crusades film but id love to see it to i bet it would be fascinating.

BTW off topic but has everyone got Firefox 2.0 yet? it has a built in integrated spell checker now :D thats why my posts don't have any more typos you just right click a word with a red line and it offers replacements liek in ms word. This browser just gets better and better.

One of my friends manages a store that's still EB, and he said they also have the version with the DVD. So I think you're fine either way.

Well I pre-ordered mine from an ebgames store so I'm guessing I'll be getting the dvd with it.

But then again I already have a copy of "The Crescent and The Cross"......lol. So for those who are living in downtown Toronto, if anyone wants it I'll be glad to give it away.

Its a nice documentary by the way.

Glad to know see all those goodies on the bonus. Look forward to reviews you guys put out so I know whether it'll be worth getting. If I get it though I think I'd get the bonus if still available.

As a side note though, the siege of Jerusalem started and ended in 1099, not 1096.
