Hello everyone I've been messing around with Vanilla RTW for some time and I've been trying to reduce the kill rates of the units to get longer battles. I know this is an old topic but I don't have much time to browse the forums extensively so please bear with me. Here goes...
At first I doubled everyone's base morale (export_desc_unit), they didn't route as fast but everything was still too fast. So I doubled everyone's HP, it worked but knowing the 15 HP hardcode limit it didn't seem fair to elephants.
So I started over, HP wasn't touched, I again boosted everyone's morale across the board, then I halved everyone's MELEE attack factor (stat_sec for ranged units, etc, etc) and doubled everyone's DEFENSIVE skill (instead of armor), so that ranged combat is still as effective as before. Combat is now significantly longer... but still not as long (I think so...) as in the mods I've played (eg. DarthMod, SPQR...). Is there any other stat or file I could edit to influence this? Or should I simply tinker with these same stats more? Thanks!![]()
