Thread: Unit textures.

  1. #1

    Default Unit textures.

there are guides out there covering this sort of thing, but i dont have adobe photo shop or 3ds max, so they are a bit useless to me. my question is, how would you change a unit so that it uses the body of the unit, but has a different weapon?

You need 3ds max to change the actual model- in 3ds max, export selected while on the weapon of choice, import it to the new model, check that its named correctly (primary or secondary weapon) and export again. Make sure you change the coding appropriately too- you don't want your swordsmen acting like a phalanx.

3ds Max is an Autodesk product - check out the Autodesk website.
