switching weapons while chanrging.

It was talked about on the com a while back how units when ordered to charge will run up close to the enemy then stop and switch weapons then charge again. Why hasn't this been fixed since the beta? They still do it and it looks stupid and screws up the charge. Wouldn't it make more sense to pull out melee weapons them charge? This should be addressed in the first patch.

A lot of things should, that's one of the more annoying bugs along with the front rank charges while the rest of the unit just dilly-dallies around. I want a good hollywood charge/a charge that seems like a charge, not a sprint interval workout! dammit!

of course i hate it too, but i doubt theye will fix it, for me it seems this issue is very hard to fix...

how is it hard to simply make them switch to secondary weapons when ordered to charge it woudl just be some kind of event flag...

Hmm maybe I remember wrong, but in RTW you could simply press Alt while ordering the charge.
The Alt function orders the unit to use their 2nd weapon, this should stop them from stopping at changing weapons as they would change weapon before charging.

no thats what i mean when you alt+clcik they do that they charge stop, change weapons, and charge again.
