I believe being used for someone's propaganda is very stupid and especially when you do it with such ignorant gusto. The media too afraid to call him out on it of course, but I'm cold hearted enough to.
So what do you think? Is he a total tool or just an innocent pawn in the political chessboard?

I just think Mr. Fox wants more money to go into stem cell research and more specifically EMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCH.

No real results? What exactly do you mean by no real results? I support embryonic stem cell research full stop because it has the potential to help people. The religious right, wanting to preserve the sanctity of "life" (and probably their own blissful state of ignorance and delusion), try their hardest to keep necessary research under wraps.

Thats incredibly sad that he was used that way. I hope he'll have time to correct his mistake and support the correct person before the polls are closed.

Possibly one can get the gist of legislation without a blow by blow reading of it? If he supports stem cell research, and this bill in essence allows for this, what is the problem?
If the bill does something that he doesn't want done, then I think that there is a problem.
The rest of us are allowed opinions. Why isn't he?

Yes, and adult stem cell research is continuing and showing results and potential- unlike embryonic stem cell research.
Now, I don't want a ban on it, but neither do I think they should get federal funds- we've got lots of capital in this country, so if scientists who want to reserach embryonic stem cells can't convince any companies to support them, why should the gov't?
