It is a terrible shame that we only ever hear about the "dingbats and extremists" of a community/a religion. People never hear the good things about members of a religion and only hear the bad. The fact that Islam has slightly more extremists than any other religion means that we hear about their bad things the most. Due to this people begin to believe that Islam is evil and some start racially aggravated attacks against perfectly sensible Muslims.
