Hello,
Aren't there three types of teppo (two slots in Projectiles)?
Chinese teppo (first firearms).
Portugese teppo (imports).
Japanese teppo (improved native production).
The Chinese were the early primitive types, I recall we used the handgunner slot in Projectiles.txt for that. The Portugese and Japanese shared the arquebus slot in Projectile (the other of the two firearms).
We didn't get a 3rd slot to work (gun from wall, modified javelin), so the difference between the Portugese and Japanese was more ammo for the latter and the Chinese being the weaker gun.
Isn't the Chinese teppo still part of SP? How is it that the Portugese and Japanese have different accuracies? Is the MP Portugese teppo using the Chinese stats?
Edit:
It was called ChineseMatchlock in one of the first stats. That unit used the hgun.
The others were Portugese- and JapaneseMatchlock and used arq. There even were three types of Japanese in the techtree and they climbed in number of men in unit and amount of ammo.
It seems the Chinese is using the same stat as the Japanese Teppo in beta 5?
