Thread: Corrupted General's (this is from RTW, too!)

Default Corrupted General's (this is from RTW, too!)

Observe how the star ratings and his name change in these two different menu's. Just before going to battle he's rated as a 6/10 General and Henry the Merciless (which is a different bug, I always let prisoners go and in one turn he gained like 8 dread.) Then you can see him just before the battle in the next turn and watch how his ratings have changed. He's now a 9/10 General and the Meriless rating is gone. Even the number of visible stars on the battle map have changed, before the camera "zooms in" on Henry's character you can see 6/10 and when/after the camera zooms in you can see 9/10. This bug happend to me alot in RTW as well, wondering if anyone can offer up an explination or if its simply a hangover that the developers never fixed?

This is no bug. Your general most likely has some traits that boost his command rating on attack or defense. Look for things like Confident Attacker or Confident Defender in his vices and virtues list.

If i understand right, he has abilities that increase his command in diffrent situations, 1+ command when fighting at night for instance, the command stars on the campaign map are always standard without situation command stars (because you cant assume he will always fight at night) When a battle is about to start and they get tallied up to whatever he has in that situation.
