    Default RTW:AotN 1.0 recurtment

    I need good skinners and modders, I starting out simple with it and will make changes over time this is just the first version.

    The mod is going to focus on the northern regions of Europe.

    Its generally known as how to annoy other people by repeatedly returning your thread to the top of the post lists, because you are too impatient to wait for a reply.

    Please don't do it crazydude.

    crazydude if you are really hoping to get skinners or modellers interested you need to provide much more information about the intended plan for your mod and also detail what you yourself are able to contribute!
    Please provide a link if this information is listed elsewhere...

    Also please remember that a good chunk of the modding community has probably just departed to M2TW!

    Can you stop bumping your thread yet? Your thread doesn't need to be at the top of the page to be read. If anyone is interested, they only have to avert their eyes down the forum a little to find it. Your mod is no more important than others here, and you don't see other modders 'bumping' their threads to the top every few hours.

    As to getting modders to help you, as Makanyane said, many modders are now focusing their efforts on M2TW. Although they may currently lack the necessary mod tools for much of the stuff required, that's still where their priorities lie. Furthermore, there have been a whole host of recently annouced RTW mods, and this is in addition to the massive number of mods already well into development. The demand for skilled modellers and skinners far exceeds the supply, so if by continuously attempting to get your mod noticed by the modding community you hope to get a quick response, you will probably be disappointed. You have to convince someone who has talent to spend their free time on your project and not on their own, or on someone elses. Bumping your threads every few hours is unlikely to impress.

    Regarding your mod, the advantage that I can see of it over some other mods announced, is that is it less epic in scope, and probably more manageable. Many mods wish to feature 21 new factions and 300 completely new units, unaware the thousands of hours required to achieve that goal. The lower the overall scope, the easier it is to see the mod coming into fruition at the end. I'd personally recommend you put in some more groundwork yourself though if you want to temp others to put in the hard hours modding for you. There are just so many mods out there for modders to get involved with, many that are already well established and have much finished content even before they get involved.
