Follows the orders of the Senate which ultimately lead to civil war with the other 2 factions, and become emperor of Rome.
Is there a similar storyline in Medieval 2, or is it simply conquering the world.

There's no ultimate goal per se like there was in RTW when playing as a Roman faction... just divide and conquer! Do we need any more??!?!?!![]()
One of the great things about open ended games like this is that once you've got used to the game and good at it - you can start role-playing factions and make your own goals. Like starting as the Turks and takin out the pope and then converting the Britih Isles to Islam.
