new Factions

I was playing with the English first, and I wanted to play as Scotland, so my plan was to use the English, rush North and conquer Scotland quickly. I did this, but for some reason Scotland aren't unlocked. Does anyone know if there is a new way of unlocking factions in M2TW? Or am I doing something wrong? The Scots are totally destroyed in my game, I even had the faction destroyed letter, does anyone have any insight as to why they are still locked?

It's only when you complete a campaign do they become unlocked. Play a short campaign with the English for instance and it will unlock all the factions.....I believe.

Playing a campaign to the end will unlock all the "playable" factions. I believe, Scotts are not among them. One needs to do little modding to make Scotts playable.
