    Default Two Stack Attack?

We have reports that the TAC AI will attack you w/ multiple armies – and that these attacks may be piecemeal due to the existing “Engage bug”.

Now, has anyone initiated an attack w/, say, a 20-unit army and then another 5 unit force under AI control? And how has the AI force reacted?

I have, though it was a siege. The ai reacted well, its forces in the town held me off on 3 fronts whilst its reinforcements joined it through the only way into the town left, but i won due to superior troops.

I haven't yet seen this piecemeal bug although I've only been playing today. However I did have a situation where my one army was attacking two enemy stacks, so this should have been a prime example of this problem.I was the English against the Scots. Attacked their King and Prince. Their main army was deployed up a hill and as my army advanced towards it the Scottish reinforcements (mainly cavalry) burst from the fog and smashed into the right flank of my army at almost the same moment as their main force's right flank of infantry hurtled down the hill towards my left flank.
In this battle, the AI of the two enemy forces was definitely working "together".

Sounds good. So, did you lose the battle? What was the outcome? What difficulty were you playing at?
