If you wish, Britain, Russia, and Allied Powers will be willing to turn a blind eye from Ethiopia if you were to attack them.

    the austrian kaiser is ignoramus...

However, as we have already found out from the problems in Belgium, Germany is well known to betray their allies at any point and they are not very accepting of their allies' ideas about their campaign. If Italy were to take the correct option and side with the Two Empires and allies then they can rest assured that we will not stand by and watch them get torn apart by our enemies, we will fight to help them. As a reward for our joint effort they can be assured that, as a prospering new country, they will recieve the support of the Russian Empire of the Tsars and the British Empire as well as the spoils of war.

edit: ahh! post count of the devil!!!

    Thumbs up Re: WW1 Interactive

    Chapter 2

Reports from the Russian border report that some sort of building is going on, unknown work is heard but many suspicions are around, one soldier reported ‘I don’t know what those Germans are up to but I have a very bad feeling.’ What could they be doing? Speed is increased on the German invasion of Belgium, a secret witness said ‘Using the railroads to supply and transport there troops, move faster they do!’ They have taken Belgium. Germany should be careful when doing U-boat raids, attacks have recently been noted by America.

There is an increase in recruitment in France as ads are found in local newspapers. Spies are found within the German headquarters as they attempt to find info on a mysterious subject, they refuse to say. All fortification on the Belgian-German border is destroyed as it was captured 2 months ago.

Russia invades Poland to try and reclaim land, Poland is very rough against there new Austrian rulers and an easy victory expected for Russia. They attack North-East Germany which is connected to Poland, it was not expected by Germany and it is captured, Prussian state of Germany falling.
A transport ship is seen off the Baltic coast, it is expected troops will land somewhere in Western Europe, but where?

Bulgaria has wisely said by there Emperor that ‘We shall stay clear and watch the fight unravel’ If persuaded they will be a major factor,

Britian sends Peace offers off to Germany, France and Austria. They ask Russia to increase food production.

Austria attacks the outer forts of Serbia, there was six of them, here is a personal account from a soldier, ‘We were coming in, nothing wrong, right? It was just another fort. How wrong we were…’ The sixth fort is under siege, food loss, getting higher. Italy will be given the whole of North Africa as well as the spoils of war if they join Austria and Germany.

The ANZACS attack German colonies within Africa, 3 colonies are lost already, an alliance is secured between Japan and the ANZACS, 10,000 thousand are sent over to Britain to help them fight Germany.

The British Empire mobilizes, India attacks the Ottoman Empire, some are sent to Palestine. Canada sends thousands of troops to Britain to help fight Germany as well,

Serbia tries to persuade Bulgaria to ally with them to save them from Austria.

Japan mobilizes and sends troop offers to Russia, ‘Do you want 5 divisions of Japanese troops?’ they attack ottoman colonies in the middle-east.

Events- U-boat attacks around England and near America, they are stopped as Britain finds out and counters it with there own submarines. America swaying to join the fight, but what side? Italy is swaying to join the Germans and Austrians and there allies. Raids on England have started. Soldiers from Spain, Norway, Argentina, Chile and Australia and New Zealand flock to Britain.

as a belated note upon the satatement about forgiving the british. My people did not feel happy about britans harsh treatment of us in the past. We forgive them and wish to be forgiven. I did not say that I would attack Britain, Kaiser. I wished to gain a more or less nuetral standing between us. But now, you have betrayed me Kaiser, and you shall expect all-out war. Also, If Italy sides with us, they shall gain all of Germany's provinces in Africa and thier fair share of the spoils. If neccesary, France will provide them with some of our spoils. We will also provide one third of our land in Africa to you. We will also share some of our latest technological developments with you. We will also provide some protection against the central powers if neccesary.

    Newspaper report

    Belgian Front opened!

Today an unexpected assault on the Belgian coast happened, Russia had recently sent troops to Germany to support an expected British attack, the British have not attacked yet so if Germany attacks then Russia is in serious trouble, What will britain do?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing the defensive line I set up should have held the Russians back. There lack of weapons and poor leadership shouldn't have been able to break through my line for atleast 4-5 months.

well i lost poland at the start to an attack and my option was to 'create defensive structures on the borders' or something... also i chose to improve weapons construction at an earlier turn so that and the fact that i am an amazing leader of russia (and modest too) could be the reason why i'm advancing so quickly through your territory

Not in the beginning it wasn't. It was similar to the warfare of the ACW and Franco-Prussian war of 1870

Right, Italy is not going to just be coaxed into this collosal conflict just by a few measly villages in Africa, if you want the leg of Europe to help kick someone then it had better be worth my while. PM me or catch me on the org chat to discuss possible terms upon which Italy will enter the war.

    The Battle of Russian Germany

You march forward with a rifle of your shoulder. The officer turns smartly around, 'Face right way and reload!' You turn right and reload a already loaded gun, bullets can't fit in. 'To the trenches!' yells a speaker, you sprint through town, knocking some civlians down, the wind lashes your face as bombs start flying in, you get to the city gates, they probaly won't let you out! A bomb flies in, a hit near the gate, a pieace of sharpenel flies in and slices a man in half, the sights are not right. You hop into a trench and prepare for invasion, they come in masses, bang, thud, bang, thud, one bullet brings down 10 men. The ringing of machine-guns sound in the distance, the rumbling of massive cluds as they alight with fire, cloulds of war. They panic as the tables are turned, Germany has won the battle of Berlin!

maybe i should have been a bit more specific but i didn't want to advance as far as berlin for that perticular reason, i knew that my troops would have lost the campaign if we went further into germany.... i wanted to take north eastern germany and poland

this also shows what i think the austian and german advances have been... normally i would take it as a blessing that i advanced so far into germany so quickly, however i feel it is unfair on the central powers in gameplay terms
