You have armies in Middle-East, Belgium, Denmark, and then peace-keeping forces across the globe.
Navy is intact.

And I had meant to ask what were your "official" reasons as well, as usually nations didn't go to war on such a whim as this seems to be.

The most likely reason for the US doing what I have done is the UK influence in Latin America, plus the fact that the entente was alot more agressive would lead to things being troublesome for the USA. Stir up nationalistic sentiments plus outrage against Entente atrocities and hey, casus belli.
