I just copy and paste the (unmodded) RTW folder; mod installs to the activision/Rome - Total War folder.

One thing I have to say, the mod seems too easy, certainly when expanding initially. I've yet to get involved in a major war with another faction, but it almost feels like blitzing. Perhaps rebel provinces can be made tougher and AI factions can get a cash/recruiting bonus?
