Long time reader, first time poster and all that faff.
Anyway, seems there's some hidden attributes Priests have, so far I've seen:
Violence, Purity, Orthodoxy, and Eligibility.
I'm guessing Eligibility has to do with cardinal/papal elections, and I know orthodoxy has to do with the chance of being converted by a heretic. But what do the others do? Also, why isn't there some way of telling what each priest has? I assume they start off with 0 in all attributes, so it's just simple addition/subtraction to work out what their stats are, but still it's kinda clunky
Where did you see them if they are hidden? Violence is pretty self-explaining, too - I'd guess it belongs to Inquisitors; not sure what purity is supposed to mean though.
And they don't necessarily start at 0, it's more probable they'll have some random number chosen from a range.
Certain VnVs, or whatever the current nomenclature for those is they will always be VnVs to me, give a description containing said attributes.

I've seen this as well Greggar. I think CA removed the priest attibutes except piety before release, but didn't change the v&v's. It doesn't make sense to have hidden attributes affect events in the game imho.
I have a heretic burning priest who is violent and secretly a woman

Yes, I was wondering about that as well... everytime I had a priest win a point in piety he also lost one in purity...

I seem to get lots of priests with the "secretly female" trait. At first i just stuck them out of the way somewhere, now i figure im paying upkeep on them and cant assasinate them so i might as well try to build them up. Im hoping to have the first female pope!
