I was all set to be mightily interested in the outcome of the game next week. As a Texas fan, I needed to hope that OSU beat Michigan by a huge amount, thus setting up a Texas/OSU rematch for the championship. Sadly, Kansas State beat Texas last night and so now my interest in the big matchup next Saturday has waned. I think I'll jump on the Rutgers bandwagon now too, just out of spite. (sigh)

Well, we have improved over last year as you well know, but that doesn't say much. 2 wins with 9 looses.

Yeah, I corrected it. I was trying to say Michigan and Ohio State and it came out OSU and Michigan State.

It's nothing against the Wolverines. It's just that (up until last night when KSU beat them) the UT Longhorns were needing a big blowout by OSU of Michigan in order to keep UT's BSC championship hopes alive. But UT took themselves out of contention by losing to Kansas State. So now it doesn't matter. I might even cheer on Michigan. I've always liked them more than OSU.

When was the last time the Wolverines won a national title? I was trying to remember and it isn't coming to me. 1997 or so, co-champions with Nebraska?
