There is an option to 'try attacking at night' on the pre-battle screen, but I haven't tried it yet.
Does it cause any extra lagg?
It always did for me in BI and other rome mods, i assume itll be the same here

No, it doesn't reduce the FPS rate. To be honest night fights feel more like evening fights. It's dark, but not as dark as BI was. You don't seem to get the stars and pitch black sky. I only played four night fights though, but they don't look as good as the ones in BI. The torches don't have that cool glow either.
It's good when you do a night fight and its really foogy as all you can see of the enemy is the little white specs of their torches.Originally Posted by BazOokaKing
