Is there a way for me to flash my bios without a CPU? or should i go ahead and spend $150 extra?
I can't guarantee anything, but an unsupported CPU should still function though possibly not running at the correct speed (slower). There is no way, for the end user anyway, to flash a BIOS without actually installing a CPU and memory, and booting the system first. You could do with finding out for sure if the system will boot at all with that CPU installed.
