turn down marriage proposals and princesses should appear in your citys.
I don't think you should get the birds and the bees talk from a gaming forum.![]()
This was one of the things the people at Gamestar noted as well in their test. They played a whole compaign without ever getting a daughter (i.e. a princess). I am uncertain as to whether they tired to propose.

I'm in turn 30 or so, playing English, and already two little princesses are born in my family. My first princess fell in love with a hairy German general and was never seen again.
I also already had three (!) generals adopted in my family, all three were chivalrous and loyal but lacked piety, their command was reasonable though.
I've gotten a few daughters born into the Komnenan family in Byzantium this game, but it's been kinda strange. The first girl child changed portrait sometime around age 16, but didn't turn into the "Princess" portrait, just the portrait of the wives. She wasn't born to the faction leader/heir, though, so perhaps it has to be a daughter of the line of succession to be considered a princess. I'm waiting until she turns 20 (the age Anna Komnena was at the beginning of the game) to see if it changes there.
Age and treachery will defeat youth and skill every time.
The princesses dissapear (or don't appear) at 16 if you agree to a marriage proposal the turn she hits 16, then she's married to the general.
Bit dissapointed with the princesses on the faction heir marriage front ... the ingame help says something about watching if the first child of the union but from reading on the forum it seems they make no difference boy or girl. (both political marriages i've had gave girls as first born)
No civil wars![]()
can someone explain me this?
a french princess came to my town where is my single prince, and she does a little animation like to propose my prince
but actually nothing happens...there is no info of proposal or something like that
she has done the same thing for 5-6 turns...i even built a chapel, I thought maybe thats the reason for them not to marry![]()
then I got pissed off, and simply killed her with assassin![]()
When your princess proposes to an AI, there's a random chance it will be accepted. I don't know if there's a random factor involved when the AI talks to you.

Princesses can bribe you know, that is what she is trying to do.Originally Posted by chopa

Princesses can't bribe.
That's an Diplomat exclusive
Diplomats do the same thing. I would discount it as simply an "oddity".
