    Default Slowing down the battles

Is there a mod out there that slows down the combat of 2 units fighting eachother. Seems to me like the deaths happen too quickly, and that it would be more interesting if they had to slug it out for a while (Although this sometimes does happen).

I'm not aware of one. What you're referring to are kill rates, which are dependent, I suppose, on the overall stats of the units involved.

HolyBandit, if you're referring to single-player and the AI units losing too quickly, have you tried raising the difficulty setting? On Expert, with reasonably well-matched troops, the fightings can go on for quite a while (unless your army breaks first! ).
