Why were those shut down?
Imagine EB on the history channel.![]()
EB could well be used on the history channel, it's accurate enough...Originally Posted by Olaf The Great

I saw a few of the Decisive Battles episodes on the History Channel a while ago. It was cool to see such massive battles running flawlessly on the RTW engine (oh how I want their modified version of the game! Not to mention their computers...), but beyond that it was vanilla through-and-through. Horrid uniforms, ridiculous physics, and no attempt at fixing skins or animations. At least the battles weren't fought against the AI...
Though I did like that it gave a decent visual representation of those battles, but I never got to see Time Commanders. That would have been interesting...
For pity's sake, show some respect - EB would be nothing without RTW.Originally Posted by Dayve

From time commanders I remember river Trebia, the alexander one and the one where the greeks assaulted that city as the best ones. The team in the Alexander and Hannibal one battered the enemy, although Alexander ended up dead.![]()
Anybody has seen Tapae ?
I need it... for real research !!!
Please... if anyone knows were to find it (even less... conventional places), please PM me !

hum.... I was thinking...
Why doesn't the EB team get in contact with the produces of those shows and give them a preview *hint* a video of Battle of Magnesia *hint*
While I can't speak for Decisive Battles Time Commanders is not all it would like to be. Particually in the later series. Stamford Bridge being a prime example. I wouldn't use it as a source.

Watching it on the web without the creator's explicit permission is breaking copyright, I think?![]()
