    Default Time Commanders/Decisive Battles

Is there any site which has all the episodes of Time commanders and/or Decisive Battles? I fondly remember Time commanders and Decisive battle also sounds great, I've checked youtube and google video but alas, no dice.

    Why were those shut down?

Imagine EB on the history channel.

EB could well be used on the history channel, it's accurate enough...

I saw Decisive Battles on tv not too long ago, in the middle of the night or something, and it was the one about Crassus. I remember seeing all those purple guys and laughing at the stupid CA color coded teams, now portrayed on the History Channel.

I saw a few of the Decisive Battles episodes on the History Channel a while ago. It was cool to see such massive battles running flawlessly on the RTW engine (oh how I want their modified version of the game! Not to mention their computers...), but beyond that it was vanilla through-and-through. Horrid uniforms, ridiculous physics, and no attempt at fixing skins or animations. At least the battles weren't fought against the AI...

Though I did like that it gave a decent visual representation of those battles, but I never got to see Time Commanders. That would have been interesting...

For pity's sake, show some respect - EB would be nothing without RTW. That's some fine "mess" if it can produce EB.

From time commanders I remember river Trebia, the alexander one and the one where the greeks assaulted that city as the best ones. The team in the Alexander and Hannibal one battered the enemy, although Alexander ended up dead.

While I can't speak for Decisive Battles Time Commanders is not all it would like to be. Particually in the later series. Stamford Bridge being a prime example. I wouldn't use it as a source.

Watching it on the web without the creator's explicit permission is breaking copyright, I think?

Maybe, or maybe not. I ain't no lawyer.....
BUT now that I think about, I suggest we don't because IF DB and TC get excited and decide to concract EB, THEN CA might get pissed and deside to SUE! Even IF EB is right in what it is going it would be too much headace and attornie fees to pay.

    Nevermind, dumb idea.

I think decesive battles should have used a few skins and stuff with permission from mods. Or at least made their own skins. I meen its a TV show for gods sake they arent that cheap are they?
The one thing that annoyed me about decesive battles though was the looped music. They played RTW music throughout the entire thing and when you only have about 10 mins of it (some repeated more then others) that has to last 30 mins its quite annoying to listen to. Particuly concidering its the same every episode. The other thing i noticed was that they modified the stats so that no one actually died just they were fighting. It kinda looked a bit silly with how the spartans at thermompoly(i think thats the name) somehow killed 10,000 people yet they didnt actually kill anything for 10 minutes.
Although i have seen much worse much much worse.
Cant remember the name of the show but it had bad skins (low poly bad but reasonably realistic looking) (medieval one) and the fighting animations involved a variety of jumping up and down and making stupid looking swings with your sword. Looks rather stupid for heavily armoured guys that are dodging in and out of sword blows.
Although M2TW is definitly TV material thats for sure.
