For now you can post anything you find useful including ideas for faction specific buildings, events, advisors etc MILITARY UNITS EXCLUDED - that is well researched and only later we will possibly need more details.

Well, if your mod begins in 1480 like MTW VI then the HRE was for the most part a single entity. Brandenburg with a few others were semi-autonimous- sub divisions of the HRE if you will. Local governments, local laws, local armies but still had to answer to the emperor. After the thirty year's war, however, the HRE was highly decenstralised and disinegrated into many many independent kingdoms and city states. During the 1500's though it was a power to be reconded with. Pretty much it's own country part of the Spanish-Austrian-HRE Hapsburg alliance.

I just wanted to add that they are spelled Habsburg in German language. Hapsburg is sometimes used in English but IMHO Habsburg is the correct name.
