    Default rebels

The official thread will be used to add more information about the rebels.

For now you can post anything you find useful including ideas for faction specific buildings, events, advisors etc MILITARY UNITS EXCLUDED - that is well researched and only later we will possibly need more details.

Rebels - who are they ?

All sort of minor factions there is no place in the mod, local brigands, occupied people ready to revolt etc.

Generally it includes - the Irish, Serbian, Bulgarian, Montenegrin, Afghani, Lebanese, Yakuts, minor german states, non-Iroquis American Natives, desert riders, barbary pirates and others.

The easiest thing is to divide them into areas:

    americas,

    central Asia,

    central Africa,

    northern Africa,

    Middle East,

    Balcans,

    Siberia,

    Ireland,

    western Europe in general (too little unique units to point out any state or people );

Some of those guys will have developed cities and strong, modern armies, others will be nothing more than bandits attacking the unwary - all should be interesting to face.

Thumbs up Just to clearify Montenegro

    Btw,
Montenegrin is regional name for Serbs.

Montenegrians are created as nation after WW2 in Communist Yugoslavia under Communist represion. In modern Montenegro (census from 2002) after hard propaganda still 33% people indentified as Serbs and 40% as Montenegrins.
Census in 1902 in Montenegro - 98% Orthodox Serbs.

My family from father's side is from Montenegro (Vojinovic tribe). In time of Ottoman occupation Montenegro was called Serbian Sparta because they resisted to Ottomans.

Treat Montenegrin as Highland Serbs if you like. Anyway a list of common Serbian names and surnames would be useful for a start.
