    Can you make it go away? After all, the land is there beyond it... Imagine, limitless battlefields!
    Seriously though, is it possible to at least make the battle area much larger, so it would be impossible to move a whole army from the starting area to the edge before the enemy catches up with you.

    This is why I hate it when I'm defending and get a bowl-shaped battle map, where all the high ground is concentrated on the edges and especially the corners. Makes unit deployment really tricky

    RTW, 167 BC: Rome expels Greek philosophers after the Lex Fannia law is passed. This bans the effete and nasty Greek practice of 'philosophy' in favour of more manly, properly Roman pursuits that don't involve quite so much thinking.

    sadly i got two words for you.... Hardcoded limits....=( i would like to have limitless battlefield... the strategy depth it would add... the ambushs i could set.... the pursuits i could do....
