A funny story - but I am skeptical about the veracity of it. It has been published in the fiecely anti-EU Murdoch flagship - The Times.

The Times cannot print bull just for the hell of it. As a respected (former) broadsheet by Royal Apointemnt I'm afraid they have to keep their noses fairly clean.

Not that they never twist the facts up at all, don't get me wrong.

This is one of those instances where the council has demostrated a complete lack of imagination in following our esteemed leader.

No, all sources other than my own eyes and ears are tainted and deserve a higher level of proof. Believe half of what you hear and none of what you read.

You need to work on your sentence construction. I can't work out if you are trying to say I am unreasonably applying the same skepticism to the Times as I would the Socialist Worker. Or whether you are saying I believe the Socialist Worker more.
