I downloaded the plugin for gimp, but it still won't read the .tga.dds files. parthian officers will open, but they are .tga only, so I tried changing the .tga.dds to .tga and it still won't work. I am using the pak extractor, maybe I shouldn't?

Put the plugin in your plugin folder in your GIMP directory. Instructions are in the readme that comes with the plugin.

I put the plugin in the right place, and I know it works because i can open some files, but not all of the files.As soon as I figure this out I'm going to post a tutorial, to save people from the trouble I am going through.
