Beginners Guide To MnTW

While I am awaiting the arrival of a published gidgee to M2TW does it make sense to peruse the Beginners Guide to MTW which I have already downloaded or has the game complete chained from 1 to 2?

And while I`m here, so to speak, can anyone suggest strategies for Pavia which so far I have only managed rather costly draws?

I am afraid not, as the game has changed very much. Off course, the general pointers about strategy and tactics are still valid, but most of the details will have changed.
