Has anyone figured out what you gotta do to get offered these guilds?
Has anyone figured out what you gotta do to get offered these guilds?
i have 2 hospitaller guilds. i got offered the first, not long after my crusade captured jerusalam, i was offered the st johns(i think) which is for hospitaller. at the time my family member in jerusalam had both, hospitaller and templar retiunes. soon i had it upgraded to the lv 3 guild. a little while later i decided to capture gaza, and a few turns after taking it i was again offered the hospitaller guild.
it should be noted that i did not have a family member in gaza at teh time, BUT i did have some hospitaller knights trained in jerusalam.
Cheers Knoddy
"How come i cant make friends like that"
"You need to get out more"
"Im in another galaxy, how much more out can i get"
Similar situation here. Took Tunis in a crusade, was offered St. John's chapterhouse (Hospitallers) at some point after. I took another castle in Africa and was offered the same at some point after. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten any Templar offers playing as England, which is unfortunate as I wanted them. In any case, I think you only get them offered in castle settlements, never cities.
I did. As England, took Damascus (a city). Got an offer for a St. John's chapter house. Then got another offer for Aleepo (a castle).
If you havin' skyrim problems I feel bad for you son.. I dodged 99 arrows but my knee took one.

I came, I saw, I kicked ass
I was just offerd two hopitaller guilds in a row. I simply declared a crusade. Havent taken a city yet. I think you must have a fortress, and join a crusade to get them. Can anyone confirm?
Oh... then that sucks, I haven't gotten any Templar offers in a long time. Wonder what the requirement is.Originally Posted by lars573

The upgrades came pretty fast after the initial building in the first city. Got up the headquarters in a matter of a few turns. Nice to have a Hospitaller's headquarters in the middle of Africa for all your infidel-battling needs.
No, fortress or even castle-type settlement isn't necessary, neither is launching a crusade succesfully. I received the templar minor guildhouse in Krakowa after it had hit its 2nd stonewall stage. I can only speculate that my mass conversion of 0% catholic lands into high 80's prompted the offer, that and my blind obediance to the Pope (he hadn't requested anything odd, like sticking worms into my nose). Krakowa was the city which had pumped out several priests (5-6) to be used against enemies of the faith.
Do you need the leader to have high chivalry(or no dread at least) to get these guild???
