The drink-fuelled phenomenon is said to transform supposedly "ugly" people into beauties - until the morning after.
As the old saying goes....."I've never been to bed with an ugly woman, but I've woken up to a few"; at last the answer is revealed.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

What's most depressing is that the University of Reading has announced the closure of its Physics department whilst studies like this get the lion's share of research funding.
