Default Traits for the command line while trying to Build your own Characters

I don't like to cheat but sometimes the game fails to give my characters traits that I want them to have according to my own RP

Question - What are some of the traits to type into the command line when I am using the

    give_trait cheat

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Is there a file I can search through or a command I can use the view a list of the possible traits?
I believe there should be but am not an dvanced technocrat and would appreciate some direction.

There is a file (export_descr_character_traits.txt) that details all the traits and their triggers, but sadly it's currently packed away (i.e. inaccessible). CA have said that the unpacker will released with (or soon after) the first patch, which should be winging its way to us soon.

Okay, I've been trying for an hour to use the "give_trait" cheat and I guess I'm doing something wrong. The character's name is Gustav Grathe and I'm trying to give him the "Just" trait. I have tried:

    give_trait: Gustav Grathe Just 1
    give_trait: Gustav_Grathe Just 1
    give_trait: GustavGrathe Just 1

I have also tried these variations with other characters and traits and I keep getting the same message:

    err: character not found

    What am I doing wrong?

    try dropping the :

I needed a beefed up assass to get shed of a nasty inquis and used:

    give_trait this GoodAssassin 5

I had the portrait of the assassin up (right click info window for the guy) and it worked.

no colon, no name just the command "this" and the trait I wanted.

    as grimmy said,

you need to take your character out of an army/city then select them

and get the command line up and type

    give_trait this GoodAssassin 5

    give_ancillary this femme_fatale

the first letters of the words in traits are in capitals ie Good+Spy GoodSpy

in ancillarys its all in lower case, the word "this" forces the trait/ancillary onto the selected character.

good traits i use are GoodCommander 5
    GoodSpy 5
    GoodAssassin 5
    GoodMerchant 5
    StrongFaith 4

    ancillarys femme_fatale(assassin)
    explosives(assassin)

im also messing around to see which ancillarys can be moved from one to the other and only Tutor and Bard can be moved so far.

also check https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=72764 for just the trait names (no trait levels in there... until the unpacker comes at least)

How do you find out to what level each trait can be set, i.e. 1-3, or 1-5 or whatever? Is it just a matter of trial and error and a lot of hard, boring work or do you know some short-cut to finding this out?

There are a lot of traits to go through

Isn't it funny how people trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell?
