    What this Mod does:

    This is the first release of a mod that allows you, as Scotland, to invade the Americas from the beginning. I thought that it was exceedingly long before you had the opportunity to take over the New World. You start off with 4 large Armies and 2 fleets of Carracks. This mod was made for Medieval II Total War v1.0, it has not been tested to see if it works on any later versions.

    This mod also unfreezes the AI of the Aztecs so they have the chance of conquering as well.

    As you can see you will have a healthy starting point. To balance the books, the King's Purse has been modified so you are not in the red. You should be making around 2 - 4 thousand florins per turn. Also you will start with 88,000 florins to help you along the way! Finally, I have also included Inverness in the starting settlements. This has been tested on the "Very Hard Diffilcuty" level so I recommend playing this campaign on that level as it will be far too easy on any other one.

    If you wish you can go as the Aztecs, just modify the descr_strat file to include them. I left it out as their is another Aztec specific mod that is based on you playing as them.

    Installation: MAKE BACKUPS!

    Copy the descr_strat.txt, campaign_script.txt and descr_events.txt into the imperial_campaign folder (default path: C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign) This should overwrite the existing files and viola! The mod is installed!

    Known Bugs

    Some of the existing Generals names do not appear when mouse over (this doesn't happen with new ones)
    Strange navigation when your in the New World. It seems you cannot click "ahead". You need to progress in the green area per turn (note: I think happens naturally without this mod)

    None of these bugs stop you from enjoying the game. They are just annoying

    Version 1.1 will be coming soon. I will try and fix some of the bugs listed above. Also I will release this mod for other factions as well.

    Bugs Fixed:

    The names appear over the Captains and Admirals now
    The discovery of Gun Powder has been moved to a later stage (around 80 turns later) and now with the video

    Additions:

    Mod is now in EXE format
    v2.0 Will be for the English
