Somewhere towards the end of STW online, I had a few battles on my ISDN connection.
Then left and came back with ADSL on the day of release of MTW in mainland Europe. Only a couple dozen or so people were in the lobby that day, at the time I logged in.
If you remember me from M:TW days add me on Steam, do mention your org name.

cool Sinian. there was only couple dozen on the server I started to play at, on a good day, we had 40-60 max, proably 40-50, that's it. normal day we had 18-30 or so...:-) Normal Patched Lobbies had 100-200 people ofc.. :-)
As I recall, I started with STW in very early 2001 when I hooked up with Clan Doragon. I had a spectacularly horrible record and usually started each battle with an pre-emptive apology to my teammate(s). I dabbled briefly with MTW when it first came out but gave up after a 1v1 against soly where I accidentally put a couple of units in column formation, promptly panicked and could not think of how to change them back (duh) to line formation before soly's army swept me from the field. The closest I've come since then is popping into the RTW lobby to see what was going on and who was there.

Im not sure anymore.
I started MP with STW. Somewhere in late autumn, forgot the year. It was way before the release of the expansion. At that time during account creation, they had a time-out problem during the last name part, I joined right after they finally solved that problem. But I cannot recall when that was exactly anymore. I guess 2001?
I am your friendly newbie here
Start playing in Feb 2003 (there is a topic about that in Jousting Fields...)
Joined FF in May 2003, I think...
Stopped playing after RTW 1.3
Louis,
Last week. Played one 2v2. Laggy but fun.
Latter half of 2001, I had no internet connection until then. I was helped a lot by 'King of Terror' (the best player I've seen online)

Started playing MTW online autumn 2002.
Moved to MTW-VI as soon as it was out and never stopped playing it since then... allthough the peak in both my skill and number of dayly/weekly hours played was somewhere between early 2003 (joined FF in January or early February that year) and till about the arrival of RTW.

Late 2000. Kinda did the same as Gregoshi, I stank so bad that I'd often apologize in advance, and almost always after the battle to everyone involved. Never did get much better, but then again I didn't play MP much. Never really stopped, but took some long breaks here and there.
Cheers!
Began playing MTW in the spring of 2003. My aging comp made the games very laggy so I did not play MP much until I upgraded in October 2003. Then I began playing MP in earnest.
