I just started a HRE campaign and was besieging Venice, when a Venitian army that was hiding in the woods behind me and the one holed up in the city itself attacked.
After some fighting and dieing, I marched my units in some neat lines while waiting for the rest of the routing Venitians to leave the battlefield and came across this:

    Make love not war <3

Can anyone tell me how to take screenshots in this game? I have the boxed version, not the steam one.

A Spain campaign is underway and had some nice ones but didn't know how to take pictures. After a few battles and the death of two of my princes in one turn, I broke Portugals back and can move on their cites. They have half of Iberia! :O

Hit the Print Screen button and you'll see the screen contract for a second. The pic can be found in the "tgas" folder in your "MedievalTotalWar2" directory (same place as the saves etc) and you'll need to convert it to jpg or other more useful format before it can be uploaded most places. I use Irfanview for that, it's freeware.

I think you can open tgas in paint but I'm not sure if you can save them as a different file type. But you could certainly try!

Cool! My current campaign is going to get lost as I am going to do a M2TW reinstall on another computer. But I think I will save the save game file now that I know where the save game is kept! :)

I use Fraps to take screenshots. F10 there. It's convenient because they're all in one folder and it names them "Kingdoms-the date" etc.

Not that amusing, but interesting to note that these so called Mesoamerican Crystal Skulls were made in Europe in the 19th century. And what? +2 command against Muslims in Americas Campaign.

So here's something amusing I found. While besieging Iverness two Scottish archers decided to have some sort of shooting contest while their comrades were busy fighting... xD

I'm not sure why they were shooting my tower lol. Perhaps it was some sort of carnival game? Perhaps the pre-battle libations were a bad strategy... who can say for sure?
