Those Turks approching surely have shaken those Christians out of their tombs...
Philippe 1er de Francein King of the Franks
Something amusing from the Brittania campaign in Kingdoms. Here we see King James of England, who was recently crowned when the original English faction was wiped out and the Baron's Alliance took over.
And here, within marching distance, we see King Leonard of England, also recently crowned King of England when the Baron's Alliance took over.
Given the nature of the Baron's Alliance historically I suppose that's not too unrealistic, but it is pretty funny. Oh, and 'King Leonard' is funny in it's own way IMHO.
Finally an irresistable shot of one of my KoJ generals giving the verbal business to an enemy in India (Spoilered because it is definitely 'not safe for work'):

- This Catapault sure is hard to push all of a sudden. The rest of the gang's leaving us behind. Maybe I should take a look around and see what the problem with this thing is.

Perhaps not the funniest, but I was exploing with my diplomat and found this little tressure ;) I was wondering why I had seen so little of Russia... I'm playing VH/VH, but I hadn't expected this kind of resistance from the rebels :P
Love that it's that town too, just a "vad" and it makes "What do you want?" or "Why are you bothering us?" ;)
Busy Trade lanes........
Who wouldnt love the petty farmer, if he helps so much in filling your coffers......
The Middle-East is quite a nice place for a vacation, except the fact that it becomes dangerous when the mongols or the timurs invade.....
Meanwhile, everything goes as planned in the New World. The Aztecs are really having a hard time....
More screenshots comingup....
yes i would like to know too!
did you get all that money from cheats?? if not HOW DID YOU GET ALL THAT CASH!!
what campaign is this??
uhm, i dont know whom you're asking that question to, would be better if you could reply with quotes.
Well if you were asking it to me, i modified some stuff using a editor to get a nice flow of cash. You can say that as cheating as well :D
I will post more pics in some time soon
I was searching for old screenshots, and i managed to find these
A very old English Campaign i played on very hard difficulty. I did use mods
This is what happens when Aztecs face overpowered soldiers on the battlefield

I'm sorry but I don't find your cheating amusing.
The art of war, then, is governed by five constant
factors, to be taken into account in one's deliberations,
when seeking to determine the conditions obtaining in the field.
These are: (1) The Moral Law; (2) Heaven; (3) Earth;
(4) The Commander; (5) Method and discipline.

Agreed, there's a lot of that in this thread, "look at me dominating everything by using the cheat mod from hell".
Worst is probably they guy who brags and says that he went slow and when people asked him how he says he's buying settlements early on...yeah right...maybe if you have a cheat mod and play on easy you might be able to buy something. He also claims that by offering alliances to factions he gets tons of money...yeah, like that'll ever happen... I've gotten a couple of K once, when barging in on Denmark with overwhelming force while having good realtions with them and being very early on, from offering an alliance, normally if they agree it's a matter of hundreds of florins not thousands you can get out of the deal. And that's if you play a saint so people like you.
I can't speak for whoever it is you're talking about but actually it is possible to buy settlements from the AI.

I know it is possible, but it insanely expensive, a lousy rebel settlement is in the region of tens of thousands of florins, not something you can do at the beginning to get a quick start. In your example I'm assuming you make a lot of cash and you're buying settlements from an ally as a means of conquring him without declaring war. The guy in here like I said did it to get a quick start. You don't have anywhere near the money needed to buy a settlement at the beginning, if you do, then you're cheating your arse off.
