try this:
uninstall
delete all traces of MTW2 in the register (delete this: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/SEGA/Medieval II Total War")
reinstall again

hey thank you stig spend over 1 hour trying to log onto MP thought to myself poped into the org 2 mins later "I WAS ONLINE" this is still the best place for TW
