What are "wages" in M2TW? Do they add up?

I tested this with Scotland:

1. King, Heir and every general each get 200 florins salary
2. Cardinal gets 150 (not 100 like the priests do)

With the spy (100) and diplomat (50) the numbers now give the correct total amount for salaries (900):

3 generals x 200 = 600
1 cardinal x 150 = 150
1 spy x 100 = 100
1 diplomat x 50 = 50 ---> Total Salaries = 900

60 knights = 1 princess.
