Until BKS and I discuss this and post on it, any links to your specific Facebook account must not be public (PMs only). Anyone posting or linking to another member's real name in a thread will be insta-banned on the spot.

Meh. Non-facebook members can't look at members facebook page, nor can people who aren't in the same networks look at each others page without first becoming friends.

After a few words with BKS, it would appear that perhaps I am an over-cautionary old fart. The members may Facebook as they please in The Frontroom.

My motivation was/is to protect Frontroomer's privacy from those who use posted Net info to cause trouble for other people. Unfortunately, they do exist.

The rule stands, though, that posting any member's real name in a thread without their consent is not allowed.

Just to re-enforce Beirut's point, please don't get involved in this unless you are absolutely sure that you don't mind other posters from the .Org knowing your name/school or university/location. This is an area it is wise to tread cautiously in.
